Barber Liberty Head Dime (1892-1916) The Barber Dime Quarter and Half Dollar Were Designed by Chief engraver Charles E. Barber to replace the Seated Liberty Design. All three coins were designed with a similar Obverse while the Dime differed from the other two on the reverse by displaying the agricultural trade goods exported by the United States of Wheat, Corn, Cotton and Oak in a Laureate Crown around the words One Dime. Popular amongst collectors the series offers a challenging variety of coins to collect with several having very low mintages and having seen large scale use creating scarcity in higher grades.
