Product Details
This is a PCGS Graded Coin. You will receive the pictured coin. You are Buying a 1884-O Morgan Silver Dollar graded MS66 DMPL by PCGS and CAC Approved. This beautiful coin is brilliant with no toning at all. The devices are pearl-white, and show excellent cameo contrast to the highly reflective surfaces. Only a few abrasions are visible under magnification and do not affect the glowing luster. A full strike is a pleasant surprise for an 1880s dollar from the New Orleans Mint. PCGS has certified only four DMPLs numerically higher. A very nice white coin. This is an excellent coin to add to your collection.

Morgan Dollars (1878-1921) - After 1873, there was a short hiatus from U.S. dollar production. But in 1878, the Mint began to again strike silver dollars under the orders of the Bland-Allison Act. Created by Charles Morgan, the new dollar design was produced until 1904 and then again for one year in 1921. The Morgan dollar features a portrait of Lady Liberty on the obverse with a crown adorned with wheat, and cotton. The reverse offers an eagle with wings spread clutching a crop of arrows and an olive branch clutched in its talons. The coins were struck in 90% silver and are 0.7734 of a troy ounce. They are popular today with silver buff and collectors alike. In fact, they are perhaps the most collected series in all of U.S. numismatics.
