This is a PCGS Graded Coin. You will receive the pictured coin. You are Buying a 1922-S Saint Gaudens Double Eagle graded MS-64 by PCGS. The 1922-S double eagle, struck as the United States was emerging from the post-World War I economic downturn. This MS-64 piece has a significant apricot-gold cast and scattered pink elements in the fields. As an issue, the heavily melted '22-S double eagle is far more obtainable than it was a few decades ago when European holdings began trickling back across the Atlantic. Several hundred pieces in average Mint State grades are now available. In Choice and better condition, however, this issue is still among the most elusive of the Saint-Gaudens issues, and only a relative handful of Gems are known. This is an excellent coin to add to your collection.
