Liberty Head $20 The Type 3 design, minted from 1877 to 1907: is known as the 'No Motto' design because it does not include the motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' on the coin. However, starting from 1908, the motto was added back to the design, and a new series known as the Saint-Gaudens double eagle was introduced.

Obverse: Head of Liberty Facing Right 13 Stars Around Rim.
Reverse: Forward Facing Heraldic Eagle with Rays and Stars above.
