On the obverse of the 2023 Mexican Silver Libertad, you will find a vision of the Mexican coat of arms. The modern seal for Mexico depicts a golden eagle on the arm of a prickly pear cactus as it battles a serpent that it has locked in its beak and talons. There is a wreath of oak and laurel beneath the eagle.
The reverse side of 2023 1/20 oz Silver Libertads comes with a vision of Winged Victory. The symbol of Mexican independence, she is based on the goddess Victoria, or Nike, and is shown at the top of the Mexican Independence Victory Column in this design.
