This is a note graded by PMG (Paper Money Guaranty). You will receive the pictured note. You are buying a scrip note graded PMG-30, Very Fine. A rare private Druggist and Apothecary scrip note. The scrip is from W.H. Eliot in Houston, Texas and promised they were either redeemable in Confederate notes or 'Receivable as cash for medicines.' This piece, is dated June 1, 1863 and appears to be printed on the back of a letter. (Paper was really hard to find years ago). A fancier note than usual, with FIFTY Cents across, city and date above, and bolded '50' at bottom center. Filigree detailed cartouches are at each end, with the issuer name and profession left and Fifty Cents right. This is bright from the face.
