Product Details:
This 1645 Spanish Netherlands Flanders Philip IV 1 Patagon is an exceptional addition to any European crown collection, Low Countries specialty cabinet, or advanced 17th-century world coinage registry. Struck under the Spanish Habsburg rule of King Philip IV at the Flanders mint (Bruges), this crown-sized silver thaler issue is cataloged as Davenport-4464 and has achieved the choice uncirculated grade of MS64 from NGC, complemented by a gold WINGS verification sticker for outstanding eye appeal and strike quality. The planchet displays a remarkably broad, circular flan for the hammered series, preserving bright silver luster and subtle, attractive cabinet tone across the fields. The strike shows crisp detail across the crowned arms enveloped by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, as well as bold central definition on the crowned Burgundy ragged cross, making this elite condition rarity a solid collector coin.
