Product Details
This 1898 Morgan Dollar $1 is a premier addition to any advanced Morgan dollar registry set or late 19th-century American silver collection. Designed by Mint Chief Engraver George T. Morgan, this late-series issue was struck at the main Philadelphia Mint and has achieved the exceptional Superb Gem grade of MS67 from PCGS. Preserved with extraordinary fidelity, this piece radiates vibrant satiny mint luster across pristine fields that are virtually devoid of contact marks. Soft, delicate golden-champagne peripheral toning frames both sides, accentuating the razor-sharp strike on Liberty's cap, hair curls, and wheat sheaf, as well as the intricate feather plumage across the reverse eagle's breast and wings, making this top-tier survivor a true condition rarity and an exceptional collector coin.
